Celebrating Our Community

We are enjoying a vibrant start to Term 2 at Saints Girls! Our community has come together for several wonderful events that have showcased both the remarkable spirit of our School and the diverse talents of our girls.

Sports Day

Our recent Sports Day saw SA Athletics Stadium transformed into a sea of House colours as our Years 4 to 12 students competed with determination across a range of track and field events. The friendly rivalry between the Houses created an electric atmosphere, with students cheering on their peers and supporting one another as they strove for personal bests. Congratulations to Kilburn House on winning the House Shield this year.

Many thanks to Katherine Perkas, Head of HPE and Outdoor Education, and our dedicated PE team and staff who ensured the day ran smoothly, and to the many parents who came along to support the girls throughout the day.

Junior School Spirit Day

While our Years 4 to 12 students were at Sports Day, our Reception to Year 3 girls enjoyed their very own Spirit Day at School. The playground and classrooms came alive with excitement as students participated in specially designed friendship activities that strengthened connections across year levels.

From energetic dance sessions to collaborative art and design projects, the girls moved between activities with infectious enthusiasm. It was particularly heartwarming to see our Year 3s embrace leadership roles, confidently guiding their younger peers throughout the day’s adventures.

Mother’s Day Special Events

Our Reception to Year 2 Mothers and Treasured Friends’ Breakfast and ELC Mothers and Treasured Friends’ Afternoon Tea were delightful gatherings that celebrated the special connection we share with important women in our lives. The Middle School deck was filled with warm conversations and smiles as mothers, grandmothers, and special friends joined our girls for a shared breakfast followed by classroom visits.

In the ELC, our children also warmly welcomed their mothers and treasured friends for an afternoon of connection and joy. Creating a sense of belonging, these beautiful occasions celebrate our Saints Girls family and the special bonds we share with each other and our children.

Year 12 Drama Production

Last week, our Year 12 Drama and IB Theatre students captivated audiences with their thought-provoking performance of The Shape of Mind. The production demonstrated the exceptional talents of our Senior students, who took on challenging roles with confidence and creativity.

The students’ commitment to their craft was evident in every aspect of the production – from their compelling performances to their contributions to staging, lighting, and costume design. The success of this production reflects both the dedication of our students and the expert guidance of our Drama staff. Congratulations to all involved for creating such a fabulous production.

From the sports field to the stage and beyond, these occasions reflect the spirit of connection, celebration, and community that makes Saints Girls such a special place to belong.
