Sports Day Success at Saints Girls

The sun was shining, the competition was fierce, and the School spirit was at an all-time high as students came together for another unforgettable Sports Day at Saints Girls. With near-perfect weather and a strong sense of community, the day was packed with energy, colour, and incredible achievements.

Congratulations to Patteson, who claimed the Spirit Cup, showcasing outstanding enthusiasm, support, and teamwork throughout the day. In the Sub-School Shield competitions, Kennion took home the Junior shield, while Selwyn dominated in both the Middle and Senior School. The Page Shield for Athletics was awarded to Kilburn, a well-deserved reward for consistent excellence across all events.

Congratulations to all the Year Level Aggregate Winners for their individual performances:

  • • Year 4: Penny Kelly
  • • Year 5: Mia O’Brien
  • • Year 6: Cindy Su
  • • Year 7: Charlotte Vo & Milli Richardson
  • • Year 8: Amelia Sheridan
  • • Year 9: Lucille Trengove
  • • Year 10: India Goodall
  • • Year 11: Chloe Richardson
  • • Year 12: Charlotte McAuliffe

There were also two records broken: Mia O’Brien for Year 5 Discus, and Amelia Sheridan for Year 8 800 metres — an outstanding achievement by both students.

A particular highlight of the day was seeing all the girls gather in the middle of the track to cheer each other on during the fiercely contested Tug-o-War — a wonderful display of unity and support.

Thank you to our staff for running the events so smoothly and to the many parents who came out to support the students. A special shoutout goes to the Year 12s, who looked fantastic in their creative costumes and brought unmatched energy and spirit to their final Sports Day at Saints.

With a large number of students participating in events, it was a true celebration of sport, friendship, and school pride.
