Year 9 Arts Night
The Year 9 Arts Collaboration is an annual event that students get very excited about each year. Having the chance to perform Hip Hop dance routines, portray characters in entertaining drama plays, exhibit their visual artwork, and present their own choreography makes for a wonderfully varied evening. We are very proud of the students’ achievement, initiative, confidence, and team work that each Arts student has shown throughout the term. What a brilliant way to end Term 2 by celebrating all things ARTS!

Piano Recital
On Thursday 19 June, our annual Piano Recital showcased the extraordinary talents of 19 musicians selected from the recent Piano Eisteddfod. These talented performers, ranging from Reception to Year 10, demonstrated their musical prowess and grace, captivating the audience with their confidence and poise.
The recital provided an invaluable platform for these young musicians to shine, celebrating their dedication and hard work. Each performer brought their unique style and passion to the stage, creating a memorable evening filled with enchanting melodies and inspiring moments.
Adding to the magic of the event, our Guest Artist, renowned Adelaide pianist Jenny Su, graced us with her presence. Jenny Su is currently pursuing a Master of Music at the Elder Conservatorium. She has been the recipient of numerous scholarships, prizes and Eisteddfods. Jenny’s performance was not only a highlight of the evening but also an inspirational experience for all attendees. Her artistry and dedication to music resonated deeply with the budding musicians and the audience alike, leaving a lasting impression.
Events like this recital are a testament to the vibrant musical culture within our School community. They provide a nurturing environment where students can express themselves creatively, build their confidence, and inspire others through their love of music.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of the performers for their outstanding performances and gratitude to Jenny Su for sharing her talent and wisdom.

Years 2 to 12 Music Camp and Strings Concert
On Monday, the School was alive with the sound of music as our talented instrumental and vocal ensembles came together for an exciting intra-school day camp.
It was a fantastic day filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a shared love of music, as students from across year levels united to celebrate the vibrant music community at Saints Girls. From our Junior ensembles, Development Band and Junior Choir, through to our Senior groups, Stage Band and Enchanté, the day provided a wonderful opportunity for connection, collaboration, and musical celebration.
Throughout the day, ensembles worked on their current performance pieces, breaking at lunch for a high-energy Taylor Swift sing-along. The ensembles then came together to share their pieces in a supportive, encouraging atmosphere. Following dinner, the girls and invited parents enjoyed a Strings Concert which included sensational solos from two Year 12 SACE Ensemble Performance students.
The night ended on a high with the much-anticipated Lip Sync Battle, run by the Year 12 music students, a Saints Girls tradition where groups perform chosen songs to a backing track. The competitive spirit was fierce, the performances were full of energy, and it was the perfect way to wrap up a memorable day.
On behalf of all the music girls, thank you to the dedicated and hardworking staff and mentors who make it possible for us to have these incredible experiences and opportunities.
