What an amazing and exciting game! Such a huge improvement from everyone. Wonderful goal shooting from Nina, Sia and Alyssa – especially that last goal to tie the game!! Great to see Marissa involved in so much of the play in the final quarter. Everyone should feel super proud of themselves for their outstanding efforts and great improvement!

Best Players: Penny Coulter, who stepped up in the absence of our two key shooters, Evie and Colette, and scored the majority of our goals. Aria McPherson, who was a standout in defence. She consistently turned the game in our favour with several crucial intercepts and strong transitions from defence into attack.
Superwoman: Timethma Senevirathne for her versatility and selflessness, playing a different position each quarter and giving her all wherever she was needed. Her feeds into the circle were spot on, and she finished the game with an incredible 6 intercepts in the final quarter.

An incredibly competitive match, and great effort shown by all for all four quarters. It was awesome welcoming Maddie back to the team. Being her first game back from injury in a year, she had a taste of everything, playing GK, WD, and GS, and had a significant impact in every quarter. Focusing on the fundamentals of standing in front and settling down on the court helped and allowed greater opportunities down in goals this week.

The girls played an amazing game! They kept the pressure up the whole time. Mila was our goal scorer, and she had a fantastic game. She was a key player in striker and rarely let the ball get behind her. Well done to the girls, it was truly a team effort!
Year 3/4 White: Saints (3) vs Loreto (6)
It truly was difficult choosing ‘best players’ this week, given how much everyone has improved, not only in their spacing but also in their dribbling and passing. Georgia was a key defender and helped prevent the opposition from scoring numerous goals. Emily has improved so much, evident through her wonderful passes that helped keep the ball in our possession.
