Each House’s Year Level categories can be found on the posters located around the school so keep an eye out.

‘Setting Up For Success’ – Year 12 Nutrition

As part of our “Setting Up for Success” initiative, focused on supporting students in their post-school journey across all aspects of wellbeing, our Year 12 Cohort recently welcomed final-year Nutrition and Dietetics students Sabrina Gaskin and Amy Gallery from Flinders University.

Sabrina and Amy delivered an engaging and informative session that explored our relationship with food, the cultural significance of eating, meal preparation, sports nutrition, and how to identify credible nutrition influencers. Their presentation provided practical insights into healthy lifestyle choices, particularly relevant for students preparing for life beyond school.

The session also included a Q&A segment, where Year 12 students asked thoughtful questions about protein powders, managing food costs, maintaining a balanced lifestyle at university, and career pathways in the Health Sciences.

We sincerely thank Sabrina and Amy for sharing their knowledge and time. Their expertise offered valuable guidance as our students prepare for independent living and future studies.
