Parking in Bell Yett Reserve
For several months we have been in consultation with the Burnside Council to see if we can have additional parking bays marked in Bell Yett Reserve, area outlined in red below. However, they have informed us that after exploring multiple layout options, due to the site constraints and limited space available no design could meet the requirements of the Australian Standard 2890.1 Parking Facility. The Council’s policy does not support the installation of non-compliant off-street parking designs, so they are unable to proceed with the request for the additional parking bays in the area outlined in red.
What this means is that parking in this area where no lines are marked is illegal and vehicles may be subject to expiation notice (fine).
Please do not park in this area outlined in red below.
