Dance Students Experience “Triptych”: Performance, Q&A and Workshop with Lewis Major
Last week, the Stage 2 and IB Dance students attended ‘Triptych’ by Lewis Major at Adelaide College of the Arts. This trilogy of contemporary work explored many themes and concepts through the dancers’ athleticism and Major’s visionary choreography.
Afterwards, they were lucky enough to attend a Q&A and workshop with the dancers. In this, they got to explore how the second work in the trilogy ‘Unfolding’ explored the incredible relationship between dance and light as they experimented with choreography guided by the dancers and enhanced by the powerful lighting and projection effects of the theatre.
