Sports Day 2026
The SA Athletics Stadium was buzzing yesterday as our much-loved Years 4 to 12 Sports Day brought energy, excitement and incredible House spirit to the track and field.
Year 12s arrived dressed head to toe in their brightest and most creative costumes, proudly celebrating their Houses throughout the day. From the cheering sidelines to the fierce competition on the field, the atmosphere was electric.
Well done to all the girls who participated and gave their all in what was a fantastic day of sport and community spirit. A special mention to Year 4 student Zoey, who broke the Long Jump record that had stood for an incredible 24 years!
Congratulations to KILBURN for taking home the shield! More information and highlights will be shared next week — in the meantime, enjoy the photo gallery below.

Old Scholar Lakara Stallan Sprints to International Success
We are thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Old Scholar Lakara Stallan (Kilburn 2021), who continues to make her mark on the national and international athletics stage.
Lakara was recently in part of the team that helped secure Australia’s place at the 2027 World Athletics Championships in Beijing as part of the Australian 4x100m mixed relay team. The team qualified at the World Relay Championships held in Botswana, an incredible accomplishment and testament to the dedication and talent of all involved.
Adding to this exciting milestone, Lakara also claimed her first Open National Title in the 200m just weeks earlier, further cementing her place as one of Australia’s rising sprint stars. Lakara has also been selected in the Australian Team for the upcoming Oceania Championships to contest the women’s 200m. The Championships are being held in Darwin from 18 to 23 May.
We congratulate Lakara on these remarkable achievements and look forward to following her continued success on the world stage.
