An Evening of Choreography and Dance at CREATE26
Last week, our Stage 2 Dance students took to the stage for CREATE26, presenting original choreography that explored powerful stories and themes they are passionate about through dance. As part of their course, students research concepts, edit music, design lighting and develop performances that bring their creative vision to life.
It was a spectacular evening of courage, creativity and expression, featuring more than 40 talented dancers from Years 7 to 12. Well done to all involved.
Saints Girls Prepare for Strike a Chord
Last Week Danien Hurn, a renowned Adelaide Woodwind player, educator and Coach from Musica Viva Australia, worked with our Saxophone Quartet as they prepare to represent St Peters’ Girls in “Strike a Chord.” The girls enjoyed taking on board all the wonderful knowledge and expertise that Damien had to pass on to them about the incredibly challenging work they are learning. The ensemble is directed by our saxophone teacher Sarah Byron. We wish the girls the best of luck in the upcoming competition.
