The girls displayed some of the best defensive efforts of the term. Against the top of the table team, they showed energy, fight and an eagerness to win. I am super proud of each player and the development they have shown throughout the term and it has been a pleasure to coach each of them.

Australian Junior Athletics Championships

Congratulations to Charlotte McAuliffe, Malaika McLeod, India Goodall, Isla Fahey, Gisele Chernishev and Amelia Sheridan who competed in the Australian Junior Championships in Perth last weekend. A special mention to Amelia Sheridan who is the National Champion in both the U15 1500m and 3000m. Well done girls, we are so proud of you all!

Junior School Lacrosse Carnival

A huge congratulations to our Years 4 to 6 students who competed in the SA Lacrosse Carnival. Clementine Christo, Matilda Farhan, Charlotte Kelly, Jiaen Lu and Maya Ryan competed in the carnival on Friday 4 April and came out as Champions! Well done girls, we are very proud of you.

Soccer Star in the making!

Over this term, soccer star Aleesha Gray (10 Kilburn) has not only been working hard in School to keep up to date with the transition to Senior School, but she has also been through multiple trials for international team selection. We have received the wonderful news that Aleesha has been selected for the Under 16 New Zealand National Squad and she will attend their training camp in Auckland during the School holidays. This could lead to playing in the Oceania World Cup Qualifiers later in the year.  Congratulations Aleesha, your hard work and dedication are paying off. We are very proud of you and can’t wait to see what lies ahead!
