Year 7s Bring the Adventure at their Travel Expo

Thank you to everyone who came and participated in the Year 7 Future of Travel Expo. The night was wonderful, and the travel packages were amazing. The Expo excited many for the upcoming holidays!

Parents were encouraged to buy two travel experiences after talking to all the travel companies. The most bought travel experience was Adventure Avenue from Victoria Hii, Bonnie Qu, and Ellerslie Wong. With Adventure Avenue, students designed tour packages to explore the enchanting landscapes of Lijiang, Yunnan, crafted specifically for Australian travellers seeking adventure and cultural immersion. Customers journey through the ancient town of Lijiang, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where they will experience the rich history and vibrant traditions of the Naxi people. Marvelling at the breathtaking views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, wandering through serene gardens, and indulging in the unique flavours of Yunnan cuisine. A highlight of the tour is the opportunity to learn about Yunnan’s renowned tea culture. Customers will visit traditional tea plantations, where they can sample famous Pu-erh tea, known for its deep, earthy flavour and health benefits. This immersive experience will give insights into the ancient tea-making process and the cultural significance of tea in the region.

The second most bought experience was Tourly Travel Agency from Alice Cao, Jessica Dong, Ella Gao, and Alexandra Teh. Our students designed tour packages tailored for Australian travellers to experience the mystical allure of Shangri-La, China. Nestled in the heart of Yunnan, Shangri-La is a hidden gem known for its stunning Tibetan-inspired landscapes, including vast grasslands, snow-capped mountains, and serene monasteries. This tour will immerse you in the region’s rich cultural heritage, offering visits to iconic sites. With its combination of natural beauty and vibrant Tibetan culture, this package promises an unforgettable adventure in a truly magical destination.

All the students put significant effort into their travel companies and the experiences they offered. We applaud them all for outstanding work, commitment, planning, and pitching their travel packages.

Thank you everyone, and happy travels!
