Our first loss of the season, but still plenty to be proud of! With a few players missing, we were lucky to have Georgia, Laura, and Isla step in—huge thanks to all three for helping us out. Also, a big shoutout to Ellie for coming along to support the team from the sidelines while recovering from injury. The team showed great versatility, adapting to new positions and giving it their all, even without our usual shooters. Solid effort from everyone!

Year 8A: Saints (21) vs Seymour (42)
The girls started the game strong, trailing by just 2 goals early on. In a highly contested match, Seymour gained momentum in the second quarter, extending their lead to 15 goals. We made a few positional rotations, but our defensive unit remained consistent, winning back plenty of ball. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to capitalise on those gains with a high conversion rate in goals. Anisha had a standout performance in GD and WD, picking up multiple intercepts and applying constant pressure. Sasha was rock solid in WD, forcing Seymour’s attackers to reset and slow down their play.
Best Players: Sasha Connor, Anisha Pahuja and Eliza Curry
Superwoman: Eliza Curry , who came on at GA in the final quarter and made a big impact—racking up 3 intercepts, 4 rebounds, and several brilliant goal assists in just one quarter.

Christina Balasis is the epitome of a ‘Team Player’ Despite being injured, Christina still attends matches to support her team and was also the linesperson at today’s game. Christina shows real Saints spirit and we can’t wait to see her back out on the pitch.

Best Players: Poppy Rohrlach and Aanya Milan
Aanya demonstrated incredible dribbling skills, which helped push the ball forward and assist with goals. In defence, even when playing for the opposition, she truly was a force to be reckoned with. Poppy was unstoppable in striker. She used her voice well, helping out teammates and calling for the ball. Poppy went for the second attempts, made good interceptions and helped greatly with both assisting and scoring goals! Every single player showed tremendous perseverance and good sportsmanship in this game. I could honestly write paragraphs on how each of them has improved and developed as players!
