CRICKET
Senior A: Saints (5/40) v Concordia (4/72)
Concordia played very well, but our girls should be proud of their bowling innings. The effort in the field was great with Carys Kinsella-White, Zara Trim, and Neela Malik all taking great catches.
Senior B Blue: Saints (0/45) v Walford (0/45)
Year 5/6 Blue: Saints (5/125) v Loreto (5/151)
TENNIS
Premier League: Saints (41) v Concordia (34)
The girls displayed their best performance of the term against Concordia. The consistency across all doubles and singles games was fantastic and resulted in a great team win.
Best Player: Bonnie Qu
Superwoman: Annabelle Birdsey
Senior Division 2: Saints (6) v Pembroke (3)
It was a great morning for tennis, and it was pleasing to see continued development and the spirit in which the students compete. The last match of the day was a thriller that ended with a 24-point tie breaker, and these are the moments that are great for tennis as a sport.
Experienced Blue: Saints (3/22) v St Ignatius (4/29)
Best Player: Victoria Teo
Superwoman: Molly Burnett
TOUCH FOOTBALL
Senior A: Saints (2) v Pembroke (2)
Best Player: Chloe Richardson
Superwoman: Nellie Ion and Anna Russell as wingers for staying on the entire game without subbing.
Senior B: Saints (2) v St Dominics (2)
The girls played much improved from our opening game of the season. Particularly in the second half, they showed some good ball movement!
Best Player: Wei Ning Khoo
Superwoman: Sandithi Pussellage
Middle A: Saints (0) v Sacred Heart (6)
The whole team did a great job defending especially when Sacred Heart put pressure on our line defence. Maisie Ion and Millie Lively did an awesome job shutting down several attempts to score on the wing and link. In attack it was hard to make ground. There were some great moments of play with Julia Yang breaking through from half and narrowly missing the try and Mila Fassina had a great run down the wing but unfortunately stepped out of play. It was hot and with no subs these girls did an amazing job.
Best Players – Maisie Ion and Julia Yang
Superwoman – Millie Lively

Superwoman: Abigail Hawkes for her enthusiasm, positive attitude and great serving and passing, and the energy she brought to the game.
Senior D: Saints (0/36) v Concordia (3/75)

2025 Term 1 Co-Curricular Sporting Nominations Now Open
Nominations are now open via Clipboard, for Term 1 sport and will close next Friday 15 November. Our programs are continuously reviewed and there are now more ways than ever for students to participate in sport, in a way that suits them.
If you have any questions regarding our programs, please contact Alice Johnswood via ajohnswood@stpetersgirls.sa.edu.au (Years 7 to 12) or Megan Harper via mharper@stpetersgirls.sa.edu.au (R-Y6).
Welcome Jordan O’Doherty as Head Soccer Coach
Our Soccer program has seen significant participant growth in recent times, and we are excited to welcome Jordan O’Doherty onboard as Head Coach to support our students, teams and coaches. With several years of professional playing experience in the A-League and in international competitions, Jordan is now applying his trade in a coaching capacity and will be responsible for overseeing our soccer program from Reception to Year 12. Jordan will work closely with the Sports Department and other soccer coaches to develop a detailed and consistent program and pathway for students as they progress through the Sub-Schools, developing training resources for teams and coaches and remaining hands on for the delivery of all sessions. Jordan has already proven invaluable in his first two weeks at Saints Girls, and we’re looking forward to seeing his contribution in the terms to come.
Sarah Turnbull – Basketball Australia Performance Coach Accreditation
Congratulations to Saints Girls staff member and Basketball coach, Sarah Turnbull, who recently attained her Basketball Australia Performance Coach Accreditation. This is a prestigious achievement as coaches need to first be recommended by their state body, and then a select few are invited by Basketball Australia each year to take part in the course. Sarah now has the highest level of accreditation available in Australia and is qualified to coach at professional and an international level! Could Saints Girls have the next Opals or Boomers Head Coach coaching our teams?
Well done, Sarah. We are so fortunate that we have someone of your calibre coaching our girls.
