Best Player: Aashna was the first player back in defence every time and helped her teammates out. She gained more and more confidence to dribble up the court even against a tough Wildy team!
Great game girls! Wildy were very strong and we kept them to 2 points in the 3rd quarter.

What a great game by everyone!! It was fabulous to see so many great passages of play during the game, where we kept possession for up to 8 catches in a row!! We loved how Sia worked so hard to find space on the court and lead the ball. We loved seeing Amaris remembering to have her arms up in defence and Nina consistently provided great options for passing all over the court. We love watching you all play and can’t wait for next week.

AUSSIE RULES

Middle A: Saints (0.0, 0) vs Seymour (7.15, 57)
It was a slow game on Payneham’s very big oval, but we picked up some energy in the last quarter. We had three objectives this game: clear space and lead, give and receive tackles with more confidence, and man-on defensively. The girls did really well with leading and we saw some confidence coming into the pack in the last half. Some stellar performances by multiple players who had an opportunity to shine.
Best Player: Olive Dawson who rucked the majority of the game and assisted in key link-ups through midfield.
Superwoman: Our hardest worker was Ros who really found her stride and made some valuable plays in defence and midfield. An honourable mention to Zoe McArthur for jumping into ruck with glee and doing an awesome job.

Senior B: Saints (1.1, 7) vs Seymour (4.7, 32)
Best Players: Maeve Carruthers, Elodie de Wit, Emily Ketteridge, Lucy Lowry
