Winter Intercol Winners!
What an amazing Winter Intercol 2024! After many tightly fought matches and an abundance of School spirit, Saints Girls brought home the silverware for all five Intercol sports. Well done to our AFL, Badminton, Hockey, Netball and Soccer players and their coaches on such an excellent result. Go Saints!
Saints Hockey Program goes from Strength to Strength
It has been fantastic to see so many girls participating in the Middle and Senior Hockey program at Saints Girls, with everyone having fun and improving their skills. The Open A team had an incredible season, remaining undefeated during the minor rounds and making it to the grand final, where they narrowly lost to Pembroke. The Hockey grand final, held at PAC last weekend, drew a huge crowd of Saints Girls students, friends, parents, and supporters, creating an exciting and supportive atmosphere. A special mention to Amelia Lucas who was awarded Most Valuable Player! The Open B team also enjoyed a successful season, with eight new players joining and reaching the semi-finals.
This year, our Junior Hockey program had 49 girls participate from Reception to Year 6; we are excited to see the participation rates grow. The coaches and players are very welcoming to new players and encourage any girl thinking of playing Hockey to give it a go! We have loved coaching the girls in 2024 and look forward to another great season next year!

Swimming Short Course States
Last weekend, several girls from different year levels competed in the Swimming Short Course States at the SA Aquatic Centre. This competition spanned three days, and the girls achieved remarkable results in their age groups and open levels. Ella Pearce swam in the finals for the 15-year-old girls, while Emma Everitt and Elysia Scarr competed in both the 16-year-old and open finals. Alice Braithwaite participated in the 18-year-old and open finals. It was an impressive effort from all the girls representing various clubs, with Emma and Alice qualifying for the Short Course Open Nationals at the end of the term in Adelaide. Good luck, girls!
