SACE and IB Dancers Dazzle in HER
Last week our talented SACE and IB students took to the stage showcasing a variety of dance styles from dramatic Contemporary, emotional Lyrical, stylish Musical Theatre and powerful Jazz for their assessment performance HER.
The performance explored what it means to be a woman, and the complexities of female identity, with choreography displaying both strength and fragility.
Supported by Year 9 dancers, the Middle School Troupe and Year 12 dancers hit the stage to dance together one last time. The performance was a wonderful display of technical strength and artistry.
Bringing together more than 50 students for two nights for the love of friendship, performance and dance was a highlight for me this year. Congratulations to all the students involved, they should be very proud of their hard work and achievement.

Saints Students Dance Their Way to Nationals
Congratulations to Amelia Richardson (Year 6) and Lila Kerr (Year 5) who have qualified for Evolution Dance Competition Nationals, which will be held in Queensland in January. They also qualified for Get the Beat Worlds, held later this year in Sydney. These two competitions are two of the most prestigious national and international dance competitions, and the girls will proudly represent their dance school LJR at these events. We wish them all the very best and look forward to hearing all about these exciting experiences.
