North West Build Update
As many families would have observed, significant progress has been made on the North West Build during the holiday period and Term 1.
The lower ground floor concrete columns, precast concrete retaining wall, footings for the ground floor, as well as the concrete slab for maintenance and storage areas have all been successfully completed.
The suspended concrete slab for the two-court gymnasium is now 60% complete, and the steelwork erection commenced in mid-March. The lift shaft pre-cast panels have been installed and is currently visible. Additionally, new underground services and utilities, including mains water, electricity, and fibre optics, have been extended to the new building.
Currently, work is continuing on the steelwork installation in preparation for the ground floor roof. We are also focusing on the internal elements of the project, including the finalisation of design details, as well as the selection and procurement of furniture, fittings, and equipment, ensuring that all orders are processed promptly.
