Saints Girls 2025 Musical Announced!
Team Arts is thrilled to announce the 2025 School Musical is ‘Newsies’. This all singing, dancing and acting show is a story of strength, determination, love, friendship and teamwork. After seeing this on Broadway 12 years ago, it is still the best thing I have ever seen live on stage. The music, choreography, energy and characters are incredible. If you haven’t seen the show, it’s now available on Disney+ so enjoy watching!
There are so many opportunities for students to be involved in a large-scale School Musical. The Arts team, and our enthusiastic Performing Arts Captains, encourage everyone to give it a go no matter what your experience in theatre is!
Rehearsals for performers will be held Wednesday 3.30 to 5.30pm weekly from Term 1 Week 1 to Term 2 Week 6. MAKE SURE YOU SIGN UP ON CLIPBOARD NOW!
Please Note: If you would like to audition for a main role, including being one of the main Newsies, please email Ms Kitching for audition material by December 11. Auditions will be held Tuesday 28 January 12 to 3pm in the Jeffreys Linn Arts Centre.
Orchestra rehearsals will be confirmed early next year. More information will be available on Clipboard in Term 1.
Tech/Backstage will be required on Wednesday afternoons from Term 2. More information on Clipboard early next year.
