Phoebe Excels at National Brain Bee Finals

A celebration of brilliance and determination, the Brain Bee Challenge is an intense neuroscience competition held over multiple rounds for Year 10 students. In this demanding competition, Phoebe, a Year 10 student, stood out as a star. Her tenacity and exceptional skills saw her achieve her personal best to earn a nomination for the State Finals in August, where she emerged as the State Champion, and ultimately claim an extraordinary third place in the National Finals!

Phoebe’s journey in the competition has been transformative. “Participating in the competition deepened my understanding of neuroscience and allowed me to meet many passionate and talented individuals. It has inspired me to keep learning and improving, and I hope to apply these lessons to future challenges.”

The National Finals were incredibly demanding, testing students on brain anatomy, patient diagnosis, and live question challenges. Phoebe’s outstanding performance in such a competitive environment is a testament to her dedication, intellectual curiosity, and love for science.

As a School community, we are incredibly proud of Phoebe’s achievement. Her success in this prestigious tournament highlights the power of hard work and passion, and she stands as an inspiring role model for all aspiring young scientists.

Congratulations, Phoebe—you have made us all proud!
