Carols in the Cathedral Joyful and Triumphant
Heavenly harmonies rang out on Tuesday evening at Carols in the Cathedral. Our talented students mesmerised the audience with their beautiful vocals and instrumental performances, while our School community came together to celebrate the festive season. It was a wonderful evening in the glorious St Peter’s Cathedral.
Well done to our Music students and staff for producing such sublime performances, this cherished tradition is a highlight of the year.
Thank you to all our Volunteers
To all our volunteers, we are incredibly grateful for the dedication and contribution to School life. Whether you’re helping in classrooms, supporting co-curricular activities, or organising year level events, your contributions make a significant difference in the lives of our students and the entire School community. Your generosity of time, energy, and expertise creates a warm and supportive environment that fosters learning and growth and strengthens our community.
A special thank you goes out to our dedicated Old Scholar volunteers whose continued involvement demonstrates a lasting connection to their school and a commitment to helping future generations succeed.
This year we said farewell to some longstanding community group Presidents. Kirstie Blaskett, from Friends of Sport and Chrissy Psevdos, Friends of Rowing. Thank you for your leadership and efforts in enriching engagement for your respective groups.
Environment Club Adding a Touch of Colour
The Environment Club members have taken on a number of projects this year, but one in particular has been completing a mural for the outdoor area of the Staff Room to add some colour and enhance the environment. Originally designed by Alix Douglas, the mural has come to life under the artistic guidance of Ms Stef and with the help of a number of Year 11 students who have spent their lunchtimes completing this outstanding creation.
The Environment Club would like to thank Ms Stef for all her hard work over many years and we wish her well on her retirement.
