Bringing Commedia dell’Arte to Life
The Year 9 Drama students, as part of their study of historical theatre styles, were visited by artist Andrew Crupi who shared his knowledge of Commedia dell’Arte. The students viewed his solo performance, ‘A Servant to All Masters’ and participated in a workshop where they practically explored the different stock characters from Commedia dell’Arte. It was a morning full of laughs, as students engaged with this influential theatrical form of physical comedy.
