Dear Saints Girls Community,

Whether you are a returning family or staff member or new to our Saints Girls community, it is an absolute delight to welcome you to the 2025 school year. This year promises to be another exciting chapter in our School’s 130 year history.

At St Peter’s Girls, where remarkable accomplishments are the standard and extraordinary achievements define the norm, 2024 was especially memorable. Our Year 12 cohort completed their final SACE and IB exams, and their results were outstanding. Our joint School Duxes, Heidi Gong and Ishita Chellaboina, both achieved an ATAR of 99.75.

  • Heidi, the 2024 IB Dux and the School Assessment-based DUX (recipient of the Bessie Hill Memorial Medal winner for IB), achieved Merits in English A SL, French B SL, Economics HL, Physics HL, Chemistry SL, Mathematics AA HL, and an A in her Physics Extended Essay.
  • Ishita, our 2024 SACE Dux, achieved Merits in Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematical Methods, along with two University High Distinctions.

In addition to these remarkable individual achievements, over half of our 2024 SACE Stage 2 students achieved an ATAR of 90+, placing them in the top 10% of the country. 78% of Stage 2 grades achieved were in the A band, more than double the State figure of 34%. These achievements reflect the diligence and dedication of our students, supported by first-class educators and mentors.

These outstanding results are a testament to the dedication of our staff across our School. The guidance and support they provide our students from ELC to Year 12 shape our students’ academic journeys and assist them in achieving such success in their final year at school. As we embark on a new academic year, we are committed to building on this success. Our staff have been engaged in professional development during the course of this week to ensure that we continue to provide a supportive and inspiring environment for all our students. Working alongside students and their families and sustaining a learning environment where our students thrive is paramount for us.

In addition to our ongoing professional development, staff members have the opportunity to participate in our Leadership Matters Program. This bespoke program conducted at St Peter’s Girls’ School is a two-year program designed to support the development of emerging leadership skills, with a focus on areas such as:

  • Leading Yourself
  • Personal Productivity
  • Leading Others
