The girls went down in a thriller but they came within 1 point of winning, they were 6-2 up in the 3rd doubles tie break but went down 8-6.

Congratulations to Amelia Sheridan
Amelia Sheridan has delivered an outstanding series of performances over the past few weeks, showcasing both her talent and determination on the national stage. At the Australian Championships, Amelia placed an impressive 13th in the Open Female 3000m, recording a remarkable time of 9:14, a personal best that also saw her break both the U16 and U18 state records.
She continued her success at the Adelaide Invitational Meet, finishing 4th in the 1500m with an exceptional time of 4:17, a world-record performance for a 14-year-old. Competing as the youngest athlete in both events, Zoe demonstrated incredible courage, composure, and competitiveness against older, more experienced runners.
An outstanding achievement and a testament to her dedication and hard work. We congratulate her on these incredible achievements and look forward to seeing her continued success.
