International Stage Beckons for Talented Pianist Mathea Zhong
We are delighted to share some exceptional news celebrating the achievements of one of our talented students, Mathea Zhong.
Following her outstanding success in securing the Gold Prize at the 2026 Chopin Avenue International Piano Competition, Mathea has now received a prestigious international invitation to travel to Warsaw, Poland, to perform at the 2026 Chopin Avenue Summer Piano Festival.
As part of this remarkable opportunity, Mathea will perform in two significant concerts:
- Young Amateur Performance – 5 August 2026
- Festival Gala Concert – 9 August 2026
This invitation is a testament to Mathea’s dedication, artistry and musical excellence. Performing at the renowned Chopin concert hall, she will share her talent on an international stage, connecting with fellow young musicians from around the world and performing for a global audience.
Adding to this unforgettable experience, Mathea will also have the opportunity to visit the home of the legendary composer Frédéric Chopin during her time in Warsaw—an inspiring moment for any young pianist.
We warmly congratulate Mathea on this extraordinary achievement and look forward to following her journey as she represents our community with distinction on the world stage.

School holidays are fast approaching, and our next awesome instalment of Junior School Vacation Care is almost here. We have some great activities guaranteed to keep the children entertained through the break. With an array of excursions and on-site adventures, there is plenty of fun to be had.

OSHC Director
Introducing Our New OSHC Director
We are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Director, An Nguyen. While An commenced earlier this term, she has recently returned from a short period of leave overseas.
Now back and ready for a fabulous year ahead, we are delighted to formally introduce her to our School community. An will work alongside Rebecca Kranz, OSHC Supervisor, to deliver a high-quality, engaging OSHC Service and associated programs.
An brings a wealth of experience in OSHC, having worked as an OSHC Director for the past six years. One of her many strengths is in building positive relationships with children and their families. An is passionate about incorporating children’s voices into the program.
We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Fran Dedai as an additional OSHC Educator to our team. Fran has extensive experience working in OSHC and Schools in a classroom support role. Fran has a deep passion for creating fun, safe, and engaging environments for children.
