Back-to-Back Statewide Tennis Champions!
We are thrilled to announce that our Year 5/6 girls have once again claimed the Statewide Knockout Tennis Championship, making this an incredible back-to-back victory for our School after winning the title last year as well! Their performance in the 2025 finals was nothing short of outstanding, showcasing skill, teamwork, and determination.
Match Results
- Quarter Final: A dominant win over Maitland Lutheran School, taking both singles and doubles matches with an impressive 6/36 – 0/5.
- Preliminary Final: The team continued their winning streak against St Martin de Porres School, finishing 5/33 – 1/16.
- Grand Final: Westminster School provided a strong challenge, but our girls served powerfully, rallied with precision, and held their nerve to secure victory 4/28 – 2/20.
Our Champions
Grace Ooi (Y6), Victoria Teo (Y6), Raven Huang (Y5), Emily Wang (Y6), and Molly Burnett (Y6) played with incredible composure and confidence. From strong serves to clever volleys, they showed what true champions look like.
We couldn’t be prouder of these talented athletes, who are now officially Statewide Knockout Tennis Champions for Years 4-6 – two years in a row! Congratulations, girls – you’ve made history for our school!
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our staff and coaches, who have committed to the growth of our tennis program and supported the girls throughout the year.
