Year 9 Graduation
Last week, we proudly celebrated the graduation of our Year 9 students, marking a significant milestone in their educational journey as they transition from Middle School to Senior School. The ceremony was a beautiful celebration of their Middle School years, with parents, staff, and fellow students coming together to acknowledge the dedication and perseverance that have brought them to this point. It was a moment to celebrate not just their academic accomplishments, but the personal growth, friendships, and memories they’ve created along the way.
The audience was treated to stunning musical performances, a testament to the girls’ talents and the vibrant culture of our School. Additionally, a heartfelt Highlights of Year 9 video captured the essence of their journey, bringing laughter and nostalgia to the event as we reflected on the many special moments from the year.
As each student received their Graduation Certificate, there was a sense of pride and excitement in the air. Our girls have worked incredibly hard to get to this point, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what the future holds for them as they move on to the Senior School.
Congratulations, Year 9s! We look forward to witnessing all the amazing things you will achieve in the next chapter of your schooling.

Year 9 Drama Students Bring Creative Stories to Life on Stage
Last week, the Year 9 Drama students showcased self-devised theatre pieces to their cohort. Working in small groups, the girls collaborated to create a play, based on a well-known story incorporating an assigned theatre style – either Commedia dell’Arte, Epic Theatre, or Greek Chorus. The performances were thoroughly entertaining and demonstrated the students’ creativity, as well as their developing skills in stagecraft, characterisation, voice, and movement. It was wonderful to see their hard work and imagination come to life on stage.

Year 12 Art Show
On Friday 31 October, the Elizabeth Pike Art Studio was transformed into a vibrant gallery space, alive with colour, creativity and inspiration. Students explored a diverse range of media, proudly showcasing their exceptional artistic talents in the Stage 2 Visual Arts Exhibition.
Families, friends and staff gathered to admire an impressive display of art and design pieces and practitioner statements, each reflecting the students’ dedication, skill and creativity. From functional design pieces to bold, expressive works, the exhibition highlighted both the technical proficiency and imaginative flair nurtured within our Visual Arts program.
Events such as these not only celebrate the extraordinary achievements of our students but also demonstrate the value of creativity, innovation and personal expression within St Peter’s Girls’ School’s Arts curriculum. The exhibition was a true testament to the students’ perseverance, growth and passion for the arts.
Thanks go to Ms Mansfield for her guidance, encouragement and support in helping our students bring their creative visions to life. Throughout the process, she provides valuable feedback and offers so much of her time and energy to her students, ensuring they feel proud and achieve success.
