BASKETBALL
Middle B: Saints (11) vs Concordia (34)
Best Player: Vienna Howes
Middle C White: Saints (4) vs Immanuel (56)
In a very tough game for the girls, effort and having a crack was the aim of the game. I’m proud to say they never gave up or let the game play out, and made the opposition work for everything.
Best Player: Queena Ai is quiet and unassuming, but she never stopped trying and playing the game; and did everything I was asking her to do. Very impressed with her consistent efforts.
Middle C Blue: Saints (24) vs Immanuel (34)
Best Player: Daisy Karamanlis displays incredible effort, determination and courage when playing. She tries for every possession and refuses to let size impact her play. Daisy also leads from the sidelines, constantly addressing the team with support or ideas on how to get better.
Senior B: Saints (37) vs Wilderness (19)
Special thanks to injured player Wei Ning for coming out and helping with coaching and subs!
Best Players: Charlotte Dodd and Jana Song.
Senior C: Saints (11) vs Scotch (27)
Best Player: Imogen Wallace’s contribution was awesome, scoring the first 6 points of the game and being instrumental to our team’s offensive output and rebounding. Well done Immy.
Superwoman: Abbie An. It was Abbie’s first game back after a broken finger and she did well to contribute positively to the team both on and off the court. It was so nice to have Abbie back out on the floor!

Meeting the Senior C team for the first time was a pleasant surprise. Despite having a large squad, a different coach, and new rotations, the girls remained in sync and brought great enthusiasm to the game. With a mix of strong servers and solid passing platforms, they did well to place the ball into deep corners to win points. A fantastic performance overall – excited to see how they and the rest of the Senior girls will continue to grow!
Best Players: Annabel Bamford and Abigail Hawkes stood out with their dig-set-spike combinations, setting a great example for the rest of the team to follow.
Senior D Blue: Saints (1/37) vs Walford (2/64)
Best Player: Kate Wang
Middle A: Saints (0/41) vs Seymour (0/48)
Tough Game, Bright Future. Today was a high-pressure game where we had to ask a lot of the girls. Unfortunately, our lack of experience and preparation showed against a seasoned Seymour team that was ready for the challenge. We struggled with serve reception, which made it hard to generate points, and nerves got in the way of clean passing. That said, there were great moments in the second set where we got the ball up and showed our offensive potential. We’ve already made huge progress, and this is just another step in the journey. The future is bright—let’s keep pushing forward!
Best Player: Sophia Bamford. Sophia stood out, handling tough serves with confidence, and the Middle As showed resilience, staying positive and pushing through.
Middle B: Saints (3/75) vs Seymour (3/75)
Middle Bs keep rolling! The Middle Bs did what they do best—dominate with their serving—securing another well-earned win. A huge service game gave us the upper hand, but the girls are still working on using all three touches to take advantage of longer rallies. As a strong serving team, they can sometimes be caught off guard when the ball comes back, but with more game experience, they’ll continue to improve.
Best Player: A special mention to Sophie Wiggins, whose thunderous overarm serves put real pressure on the opposition. The progress of the Bs has been fantastic to watch.
