Our other crews finished their season strongly as well, placing 4th, 5th, 6th and 6th in their respective races.

This is the best medal tally the School has ever achieved at Head of the River, with the previous record having only stood for 12 months since the 2024 event! Moreover, this was the best medal tally by any school in the Schoolgirl competition at the 2025 Head of the River!

Head of the River also serves as our Intercol fixture against Walford decided on an aggregate result across all divisions contested by crews from both schools. On these results, St Peter’s Girls’ School won the rowing Intercol against Walford by a margin of 7:1! We look forward to watching and supporting the rest of our teams as they contest Intercol in Week 9.

The incredible spirit and support of the Saints Girls community was on full display, as our students turned out to support their friends, “spirit sticks” in hand! Thank you to all the students and families that attended Head of the River and supported our crews throughout the day. It was incredible to see the compassion (and creativity!) of our students – the way that our students support one another is part of what makes the culture of Saints Girls truly special.

Our sincere thanks also go to the Friends of Rowing for their incredible efforts in setting up for the day and making the Saints Girls’ marquee a festive environment for our community.

Well done again to our students and coaching team on their efforts, and on their outstanding results!
