Students Value the Tutor Program
The St Peter’s Girls’ School Tutor Program is a free service for students in Years 7 to 12 to nurture positive study habits while supporting students to understand their classroom learning and consolidate or expand their knowledge.
Whether your daughter needs extra assistance in a specific subject area, or with a current project or assignment, our team of tutors can help. Our flexible and accessible Tutor Program is available to students before and after school.
Our tutors are all recent Old Scholars who understand the demands of being a student. They are some of our best and brightest graduates who have been carefully selected to cover key course areas.

Tutor Program Coordinator
The Tutor Program is a crucial aspect of learning at our School and has allowed me to achieve my best in assessment tasks, both exams and assignments, helping me in a range of subjects including Maths, Chemistry and Global Politics. I recommend all students book into the program as it is a great resource for answering any questions based on current learning.

This year, I used Tutors to support me with my Psychology assignments. I really wanted to improve my writing and understanding from last year. Attending sessions was truly worthwhile and a great value to my learning. I have improved significantly and reached my goals for Psychology. The tutors not only helped check my work and give me useful feedback, but they also helped me understand specifically what teachers are looking for, and how I should structure my responses. As they have already completed these assignments in past years, the feedback is so valuable, thorough and effective.

I was mostly supported in Biology. The tutors helped me create graphs, understand topics and proofread my work. I value the help from the tutors as it provides me with confidence that what I am submitting is clear and correct.
