Year 7 Embrace Adventure on Limestone Coast Camp
Last week, our Year 7 students travelled to the Limestone Coast for their annual Outdoor Education camp, a key milestone in the Middle School journey.
Throughout the week, students embraced a range of challenges, including kayaking, cave exploration, bushwalking, and expedition-style cooking using Trangia stoves. The program is intentionally designed to build independence, resilience and teamwork, and it was incredibly pleasing to see the girls step outside their comfort zones and support one another so well.
A highlight of the week was Thursday night’s Talent Show, which brought plenty of energy and laughter to camp. Congratulations to 7DERE for taking out the friendly competition.
The Year 7 cohort should be very proud of the way they represented themselves and the School Camp continues to be a powerful experience in strengthening confidence, connection and community within the year level.

Exploring the Natural Wonders of Kangaroo Island
The Year 8 camp to Kangaroo Island in Week 5 provided an opportunity for students to connect with nature in a variety of ways through activities and sightseeing across the island.
During the week, students participated in a wide range of activities including snorkelling, expedition walks, bird shows and sandboarding. While all the activities were thoroughly enjoyed, the water activities were a favourite among many of the girls. Spending each night in a different location was also a unique experience, allowing students to explore different parts of Kangaroo Island and connect with the natural environment in new ways. It was pleasing to see students challenge themselves by stepping outside of their comfort zones and strengthening their connections within their Home Groups.
Students returned feeling proud of what they had achieved and grateful for the opportunity to experience such a special place together.
