It was great to come away with a win today for the combined forces of the Middle A and B teams. We saw some great efforts across the team and special mention to Abbie Phillips for taking a leadership role on the field and supporting many of the newer players, Kay Jay and Wei Ning Khoo who were both very effective on the link and wing. Millie Lovely and Ivy Pratt stepped up to the challenge today and did a great job in both defence and attack. We had lots of subs which worked in our favour ensuring every player could put in maximum effort.

U16 Touch Football National Youth Championships
Congratulations to Julia (Year 8) on her selection in the U16 South Australian State Team for Touch Football! The tournament was played in Coffs Harbour, and unfortunately torrential rain meant the tournament was cancelled on day three, meaning Julia only got to play two games. South Australia played against a very strong Queensland and New South Wales in those games and lost both, but the team saw great improvement and came away with lots of learnings and great memories.
National Interschools Equestrian Championships
Aurelia (Year 10) and Annabelle (Year 8) with their horses Carrots and Bob respectively, achieved great success in Tamworth at the recent Equestrian Nationals. To qualify for this tournament reflects their hard work and dedication throughout the year, which is made more challenging with needing to meticulously plan transport for their ponies.
Aurelia and Carrots competed in Combined Training, where she performed a Dressage Test and a Show Jump Round. Carrots handled both phases like a seasoned professional, delivering performances to be proud of. Annabelle and Bob showcased their skills in the Show Horse category, which included two ridden phases and a led phase. Bob truly shone, and Annabelle was thrilled to see her new horse perform so well in such a large environment.
The girls had an incredible time, formed lasting friendships and are already eager to participate in the Interschool season again next year, with aspirations to qualify for the team and compete at Sydney’s International Equestrian Centre.
