Term 4 commenced with a sense of excitement with the first week back being Celebration Week for the Year 12 cohort. Celebration Week marks the final time the Year 12 cohort is all together. It is a time filled with mixed emotions, as the excitement of what’s to come is met with sadness for all that is drawing to a close.
In true Saints tradition, the week was full of fun and of course events! The girls dressed as their teachers, enjoyed a show from world-renowned hypnotist Isaac Lohmann, took part in a water fight and the much-loved tradition of the School run through. The week finished off with families and the School community saying a final farewell to the Class of 2024 with a Chapel Service, Assembly and Valedictory Dinner.
While each event or dress-up theme across that week is always lots of fun, they also serve a greater purpose as we farewell the girls. Individually they offer opportunities to reflect and to spend time together. Collectively they provide the cohort, the wider School community and families with the opportunity to offer thanks, acknowledge an amazing group of young women and say goodbye. The class of 2024 have been wonderful role models and leaders in our School. They have approached each day with a sense of excitement and energy. Ever present, they have involved themselves in all aspects of School life while also supporting others to take part. As the girls approach final assignments and exams, we wish them all the very best. They have left a lasting legacy at Saints and our School community is all the better because of their time here. We wish them every success for their future and look forward to all that they will achieve.
