Future focused students walk-through the North West Build
On Wednesday 24 September, ten students were given an opportunity to explore the new North West build, and speak with a team of professionals from Partek, Swanbury Penglase and Trice. This gave the girls a unique mid-build insight into large scale projects. Here is what the girls had to say:
“The walkthrough of the North West build was an extremely valuable experience as I gained a better understanding of the range of professionals required to put such a large-scale project into action. Attending this tour opened my eyes to the immense amount of collaboration between people in very different careers and it gave me a better idea of possible careers I could pursue.”

“The tour through the North West build was very useful in learning about prospective career options in interior design, architecture, and project management. Having the central people responsible for the project give us the tour was extremely beneficial, as we could inquire about specific details about the build or about their jobs in general.”

“It was a valuable opportunity to tour the new build and gain insights from industry leaders on the processes involved. It was also encouraging to see women in a traditionally male-dominated field, which sparked an interest in being part of that stereotype change.”
