Saints Girls Hit the Stage at Princes Rock
Last week, our Saints Girls’ Rock Band ‘Soda Blue’ performed at the highly anticipated ‘Princes Rock’ event at The Norwood Hotel. Sharing the stage with talented rock bands from Wilderness, St Paul’s College, and Prince Alfred College, we brought energy and set the tone for the evening’s performance since we were the openers! Our setlist took the audience for a ride, starting with Dua Lipa’s catchy hit ‘Don’t Start Now’, moving to the heartfelt classic ‘Iris’ by the Goo Goo Dolls, and finishing with an upbeat cover of Katy Perry’s ‘Hot n Cold’. The crowd was quick to join in, singing and dancing along to every song. From start to finish, the night celebrated not just talent but also friendship and encouragement between students from different schools. Thanks to the dedication of Ms Habel and Ensemble Director Meena, we were able to shine on stage. The night left everyone inspired, and we are excited to hopefully take part again next year!
