Zoe White Represents Australia on the World Stage!
Towards the end of October, Zoe White (Year 10) proudly represented Australia at the FISAF (Federation of International Sport Aerobics and Fitness) World Championships in Prague, Czech Republic.
The following reflection has been written by Zoe herself:
“The three-day competition was an incredible opportunity to witness elite athletic talent from across the globe. All athletes competed in a semi-final round, striving to qualify for the top eight spots in the finals. My team successfully qualified and went on to place 6th in the world in the Junior Grande section — a highly competitive category dominated by the Czech teams.
I loved competing on the world stage, cheering on other Australian athletes, and forming friendships with competitors from across the country. The experience has deepened my passion for sport aerobics, and I hope to represent Australia again in the future!”
Congratulations, Zoe we are so proud of you!

Julia Yang – Touch Footy Trip to Ballarat
Congratulations to Julia Wang (Year 9) for her involvement in the U15 girls Touch Football semi-finals!
Below is a statement from Julia herself:
“The U15 girls had a very successful campaign this year, making it to the semi-finals and then playing against ACT in the bronze medal match. Although we narrowly lost the bronze, our team finished 4th overall — an excellent result for South Australia, especially since touch football is not a widely played sport here. This is the highest position SA has achieved in a very long time!
During the trip, we stayed together as a team, which was a fantastic experience. Joining warm-ups with other states was not only fun but also helped us build connections and improve our touch skills.”
We are extremely proud of your involvement, Julia — well done!

Badminton Team Shines at Years 7 to 9 Knockout Competition
What a day for the Years 7 to 9 Knockout Badminton team! Hailey Lee, Cici Wu, Sophie Wiggins, Christina Zhu, and Lianna Lei took to the court with incredible determination, playing over 15 sets each with minimal rest. Their resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship were on full display as they powered through the competition.
The girls successfully made it through all the preliminary rounds, finishing an impressive third overall. Their hard work, commitment, and support for one another were key to their success. This achievement highlights not only their individual skills but also their ability to work as a cohesive team.
Congratulations to Hailey, Cici, Sophie, Christina, and Lianna on this fantastic result! You should all be extremely proud of your performance!
