Exciting Progress On Our New State-Of-The-Art Facility!
If you have driven past recently, you’ve probably seen how much the Build has grown. This structure is really taking shape, and it’s looking impressive! You can now get a realistic sense of just how amazing this facility will be once it is completed.
The Partek team have been hard at work and achieved some major milestones over the last few months:
- The main framework is complete – all the structural steel for the main building and eastern deck has been installed, creating the skeleton of our new facility.
- Level 1 is taking shape – the concrete formwork and steel reinforcement are finished, building a strong foundation for everything above.
- The roof is up! – This was a significant achievement given the size and complexity of the structure. Watching it being craned into place was quite a sight!
- Weather protection installed – special flashings have been fitted to protect the building from the elements, which has been especially important through the winter months and now as we move into spring.
- Essential services underway – behind the scenes, the team is running all the important systems, including electrical, gas, water, and fire safety systems throughout the building.
We are making excellent progress and staying on track, especially considering the weather we have had the last few months. The building is transforming from a construction site into a real facility, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead.
