Year 6 Exhibition

The Year 6 PYP Exhibition, with the Central Idea of “Space innovation demands creativity, courage and, compassion,” was a vibrant celebration of learning and imagination of our Year 6 students. The evening began with powerful student-led performances combining song, dance and spoken word, setting the tone for an inspiring night.

Students then proudly shared their Inquiries with parents, family and friends, showcasing their deep thinking, collaboration and creativity.

This milestone highlighted not only our students’ knowledge and skills, but also the positive attitudes and learner profile attributes they have developed throughout their PYP journey. Their courage to tackle complex ideas, their compassion for humanities future, and their creativity in seeking innovative solutions truly embodied the spirit of the Central Idea.

Year 1 Stay Back

A Night of Fun, Friendship and Sprinkles!

Last Friday, the very excited Year 1 girls had their first taste of ‘camp life’ at the much-loved Year 1 Stay Back. Dressed in their casual clothes, they kicked off the evening with a lively dance lesson in the Jeffreys Linn Arts Centre, showing off some impressive moves and plenty of enthusiasm!

Afterwards, it was time for a playground play, and the best part was having it all to themselves. The laughter, running, and climbing set the perfect tone for the night. With appetites worked up, everyone gathered for a delicious pizza dinner, enjoyed while chatting and giggling with friends.

Next, the group headed to Bell Yett Reserve for some tree climbing and outdoor fun before returning to School for the grand finale.… ice cream with sprinkles! The sweet treat was the perfect ending to an evening full of smiles and excitement.

A huge thank you to Ms Taylor, Ms Hampton, Miss Lepore and Fiona McGregor for their time and energy in making the night such a success. The girls went home tired, happy, and already wondering when the Year 2 Camp will be!
