North West Build Works

We would like to inform you of upcoming works scheduled to take place around the School starting in Week 10 and continuing through the school holidays. These works are part of the North West Build and, due to their scope, are expected to extend beyond two weeks.

As Week 1 of Term 4 includes a number of significant events to celebrate our Year 12 students, a decision has been made to commence the works earlier, in Week 10, to minimise disruption.

The planned works will include :

  • Paving of pathways
  • Electrical infrastructure works
  • Fire service installations

Chiverton Path
Please be advised that from Monday 22 September (Week 10), Partek will be carrying out paving works on the gravel pathway in front of Chiverton as pictured below.

This path will be temporarily fenced off while works are carried out and will be re-opened for the start of Term 4.  The temporary fencing will be well signed to direct visitors to use an alternative path.

Car Parks

The four car parks near the fire pump shown below will be closed off from Monday 29 September until Saturday 11 October, and will be reopened for the start of Term 4.  This zone will also extend approximately 1.5m into the driveway, with one-way traffic maintained.  The accessible parking bays will remain open.

Bus Parks
The first three bus car parks nearest to the Partek site will be closed off for the entire holiday period, and buses will be relocated to the Bell Yett car park.

Chapel Area
A temporary exclusion zone will be established adjacent to the Chapel for the entire holiday period to enable electrical infrastructure works for the new build.  This area will be temporarily fenced off and will be reopened for the start of Term 4.

Additional works will also take place around the Sister Circle, located near the Chapel. These works are required for critical fire service connections to the North West Build.

We would like to reassure our community that the Sister Circle itself will not be impacted in any way during this time.

We apologise for any inconvenience while these critical service works are being carried out and thank you for your patience.

Play It On for Kids in Need

Play It On is a not-for-profit social enterprise that provides subsidies to children from families who are financially challenged. We are hosting a donation bin, located outside the Sports Office, until Friday 26 September in support of this worthy cause. If you have any unwanted sporting equipment in good condition, you can donate it through the collection bins. Your donations will be sold, with the profits raised helping kids from families who are struggling financially, by funding their sporting club fees.

Please note that sports balls with holes (really flat), used drink bottles, club uniforms, protective boxes, severely damaged items, bicycles or socks will not be accepted as donations.
