Reception to Year 2 Students Celebrate Fathers and Treasured Friends
On Monday, our Reception to Year 2 students hosted a heartwarming celebration in honour of their fathers and treasured friends. The event started with a visit to the classrooms, where special guests joined the students in a variety of fun, interactive activities. Following the classroom visit, everyone was invited to gather for a delicious sausage sizzle to round off the day!
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the dads and treasured friends who joined us for this memorable occasion. The girls thoroughly enjoyed sharing this special moment with you, and it was an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, and cherished memories.

An Unforgettable Book Week Celebration
On Tuesday 19 August, our Year 2s had the exciting opportunity to visit St Peter’s College for a special Book Week celebration. Joined by students from other schools, the day was a fantastic way to connect through a shared love of reading.
All the activities were inspired by books nominated for this year’s Children’s Book Awards, making the day both fun and meaningful. Students enjoyed a wide range of hands-on activities, including planting seeds, collaboratively building imaginative landscapes, creating unique garden creatures, and even joining in a lively dance session. The students had a shared eating time and enjoyed time to play in new spaces in the sunshine together.
It was wonderful to see the students fully engaged, curious, and working so well with children from other schools. Their enthusiasm and creativity shone throughout the day, and it was clear they loved the experience. This celebration was a fantastic reminder of how books can bring people together, spark imagination, and create lasting memories.

A Day of Fun and Teamwork at Prince Alfred College
The Year 6 students had a fantastic time at their co-educational day at Prince Alfred College, enjoying a program filled with teamwork and laughter.
From the outset, the energy levels were high as one group threw themselves into fast-paced physical games in the RED Centre, building cooperation and resilience through movement and play. Meanwhile, another group of students embraced the challenge of STEM innovation, carefully planning and constructing marshmallow towers using only limited materials. The buzz of creativity, problem-solving, and persistence was wonderful to see.
After switching activities, everyone came together to share lunch by the playground, followed by a game of soccer and footy.
