A series of Job Chats

Over the past two weeks our Senior School girls (Years 10-12) have had the opportunity to hear from female professionals in a variety of fields.

In a relaxed style our JobChatters were able to share their career journey, experience, joys and challenges of their profession. Whilst they may never know how much, without doubt, someone in the room has been influenced by them. Student feedback has been excellent.

Our Year 11 and 12 girls engage in 1:1 interviews with our careers team. We use these discussions to help construct our JobChat series. The range of professions in this series included psychology, real estate, physiotherapy, speech pathology, pharmacy, finance/economics, occupational therapy, radiography, sonography, marketing, nursing/midwifery, engineering, law and skilled trades…

The JobChats have been very well attended and the ‘JobChatters’ have particularly enjoyed sharing their experiences with the girls.… A spectacular array of professions by spectacular inspiring women.

Well done girls for making the most of the opportunity!

Saints Girls Step up for Homelessness

On Friday 8 August, 35 Saints Girls and 4 staff joined 8,000 members of the community in braving the cold and walking the final mile around Victoria Park to support the Hutt Street Centre to help end homelessness in South Australia. Hutt Street Centre is a charity in Adelaide that helps relieve homelessness and provides a variety of services to support people experiencing homelessness. As a School, we raised $6,312 which is a significant contribution to help support Hutt Street Centre and the 7,000 people in SA currently experiencing homelessness. A big thank you to everyone who donated, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this without your generosity!

Annual House Dinners – Book Now!

During Term 3, all Middle and Senior School girls have the opportunity to enjoy a night away from homework to get creative and colourful at our annual House Dinners.

The Year 11s have been working hard organising decorations, food and games for each event. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone’s creative costumes and enjoying a fun night with our Houses. Each House’s Year Level categories can be found on the posters located around the school so keep an eye out.

This is a compulsory event for all Years 7 to 12 students. Visit the links below to book your daughter(s) a ticket for the night.
