Fantastic game of netball today! The team played beautifully, showing strong combinations and excellent positioning down the court. Every player was utilised effectively and adapted selflessly when needed.

The girls overcame a slow start to come out winners in what was an amazing team win. They adapted to the game, made some changes and put in the effort to get the job done. A huge 3rd quarter and a whole team effort put the game out to a good lead going into the last. Couldn’t be more proud of this group for their effort, energy and tenacity.

Year 10C: Saints (14) vs Westminster (35)
Best Players: Annabelle Birdsey, Grace Davies and Diya Bhinder. The team had a slow start, not scoring until late in the first quarter, then suddenly fired with five consecutive goals to take the lead. The second quarter saw changes in lineup and positions; while consistent, we struggled to transition into attack. The third quarter was a turning point with better movement, strong pressure, and a great debut from Echo. In the final quarter, we held Westminster to only 6 goals through excellent defensive pressure, rebounds, and smart attacking plays.
Superwoman: Cleo returned after an early injury to make a strong impact. Players of the match were Annabelle for her defensive rebounds and Grace and Diya for their consistent shooting, movement, and teamwork. Great team effort all round!

Year 9B: Saints (42) vs Wilderness (13)
Best Player: Whole team!

Year 9C: Saints (15) vs Pulteney (30)
Best Player: Ashley Lau
A competitive match was played by all. However, we let them get away in the 2nd and 4th quarters, which let the score get away from us. Great improvement shown by all, and the energy was excellent throughout.

Year 9D: Saints (13) vs Seymour (20)
Best Player: Chutong Liang
An outstanding game played by the entire team! Special mention to Chutong for her awesome intercepts throughout the game. Another close match – teamwork was excellent and this was by far our best game of the season. So proud of everyone for their efforts.

Year 8A: Saints (19) vs Wilderness (20)
A tough game against Wilderness with Sophie and Ruby out injured. We had to rotate our mid-court players into shooting roles, and they connected well despite the challenge. Defensively, everyone stepped up, but we narrowly lost by one.
Best Players: Anisha Paula, Sasha Connor and Eliza Phillips. Anisha won plenty of ball in GD and was a reliable reset option. Sasha was strong in WD and a menace in GK, pulling in rebounds and forcing held balls. Eliza played well in both shooting positions, consistently leading, driving, and creating space.
Superwoman: Ava Bembridge for her positivity, enthusiasm, and willingness to step into wing defence to support the team.

Year 8C: Saints (48) vs Concordia (36)
Best Players: Alice Richards, Heidi Chan, Valencia Capobianco and Victoria Hii.
