Beach Volleyball Competition
On Thursday and Friday of Week 5, the Years 9 to 12 Volleyball girls participated in the School’s Beach Volleyball Festival for the first time. Although it seemed scary initially, as we played more matches, everyone’s confidence kept continuing to grow. This was a great, new experience for everyone, and all the girls stepped up to the challenge showcasing their courage and ability to adapt. Overall, the festival was very fun, helped everyone improve their skills, and is something we are looking forward to in the future!

Personal Achievements
Claris Stolcman: Hockey
Congratulations to Claris on her outstanding achievement in being selected to train with the U16 State Team squad ahead of the National Championships in May. This is a fantastic accomplishment and a reflection of her dedication, skill and hard work in the sport. We wish Claris all the very best as she prepares for the upcoming competition.
Zoe McArthur: Netball
Congratulations to Zoe who recently competed with the Crowns Indoor SA U16 Netball Team at the national competition in Ipswich, Queensland.
Reflecting on the experience, Zoe shared:
“Throughout this experience, I learnt so much both on and off the court. I had so much fun and was able to learn a whole different style of netball from what I usually play, as indoor netball uses nets. Overall, our team placed 5th in the 6s competition and 3rd in the 7s competition. I would highly recommend trialling for this opportunity as it allowed me to strengthen aspects of my game while learning a whole new style of play.”
Well done Zoe on this fantastic achievement and representing South Australia in indoor netball.
