Congratulations KILBURN on taking home the 2026 Swimming Carnival Shield!
House pride and team spirit throughout the day was energetic. From the pool sidelines, students cheered on each other and celebrated every effort. True sisterhood on display – well done to all.
2026 School Premiership Series #3 Regatta
With the 2026 SA Schools’ Head of the River approaching, the School Premiership Series (SPS) regattas are key lead up events, both as vital preparation and as qualifying events. Saturday 14 February saw our Rowers contesting the SPS #3 regatta.
The morning session saw a wave of blue crews leading the way, with our Year 9B to G crews winning their respective divisions. The SPS regattas have also seen the introduction of a ‘Combine’ system, where crews that have eight or fewer entries in their division are drawn into ‘Combine’ finals based on time achieved in the first round of racing. Any crew can theoretically progress to any final. It was an incredible display of the depth and strength of our Year 9s to see our crews performing strongly against higher ranked crews from other schools, with our B and C crews placing 1st and 3rd in Division 1 of the ‘Combine’.
The Senior squad were given the day off, to prepare for and enjoy the Blue and White Formal. Meanwhile our Intermediates forged on, with the 10A crew racing strongly to progress to the A Final of their division.
Well done to all our crews; the 2026 SA Schools’ Head of the River is fast approaching, and we look forward to seeing our students out en masse to support their friends!
